Ark Productions From a Studio Cleaner to Founder: Adrian Khan’s Journey

Adrian Khan grew up in Umerkot, a small town near Karachi, with a deep love for photography and videography. But passion alone was not enough his resources never matched his dreams. Determined to learn, Adrian took a humble job as a studio cleaner just to be close to the art he longed to master.

Step by step, his dedication paid off. From cleaning floors, he moved to taking posterized photos, and then to editing. His relentless hunger to grow led him to Pak-7 Media School, where he refined his skills in video editing and camera handling. Still, one dream kept burning in his heart: to own his own production studio.

That dream brought Adrian to The Upper Room Pakistan in Lahore. Here, he didn’t just gain business knowledge he gained the confidence and tools to transform his vision into reality. At The Upper Room, Adrian learned how to:

  • Build and lead a team
  • Scale and structure a business
  • Pitch his vision effectively
  • Develop a business plan with a sustainable future

During his time with us, Adrian joined hands with two like-minded creatives Salmoon from Kasur and Rasif from Multan to launch Ark Productions, a production house born from the dreams of three young men from small towns across Pakistan.

Today, Ark Productions has covered major events such as PG Ramazaar, one of Lahore’s biggest Ramadan productions, and even worked with Coke Studio stars like Bayaan and Faris Shafi.

For three young men who once lacked access to even basic opportunities, standing behind the camera at such high-profile events is nothing short of extraordinary.

The Upper Room is proud to have been part of Adrian’s journey where perseverance met purpose, and a dream turned into Ark Productions.
